Senior Leaders Message
Good afternoon everyone, here are your senior leaders signing in
for the week Sienna and Harrison. This is our last week of term 2!
P.s Year six There are only 2 terms left before high school.
Events this term:
- On the 24th of June we had our netball gala day. Many students from years 3-6 participated in the fun day. Thank you to our parents, carers and staff for volunteering! We hope everyone enjoyed it, and we look forward to our next gala day!
- On the 25th some students received ribbons for multiple events including many races, long jump, shot put, discus and high jump. Each age group had 2 age champions and they received a medal. And we can’t forget the winning house………….. Congratulations St Paul’s RED HOUSE! Yay go St Paul’s red house!
- Yesterday we had our year six bake sale. Many year sixes baked some delicious treats. You mean very delicious treats! They were enjoyed by many teachers and students! Each item was two dollars. We baked items such as cupcakes, cookies, jelly, muffins and much more.
- Unfortunately, our NAIDOC week celebration have been postponed to Term 3. We will wear Mufti for this next term. Did you know NAIDOC stands for National Aborigines and Islanders day Observance Committee! NAIDOC week recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Next Term on Monday 21 July we will be celebrating our Kindergartners 100th day of schooling. You will see some elderly people walking around because kindergarten students will be dressing up as a way of celebrating their 100 days at St Paul’s. Do you remember being in kindergarten? What a fun time that was. Yeah those days were the best days at school!
Well that’s all for this term. We hope you had a great time. See.
you next time. These are your senior leaders signing out for
the term Sienna and Harrison. Have a great week.
