Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we come to the end of another wonderful term, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s education. This week, you have had the chance to meet with your child’s teacher and discuss their learning progress, achievements, and areas for continued growth. These primary years lay the essential foundations for future success, and it is a privilege to witness our students growing in confidence, capability, and character.
As Principal, I remain committed to maximising learning time each day to ensure your child receives the best possible opportunities to reach their full potential.
I would also like to inform you of a change to our morning routine beginning Term 3. Our school day starts at 8:55am each morning. From the beginning of next term, we will hold a whole-school assembly only on Monday mornings, which will include our Acknowledgement of Country, School Prayer, National Anthem, and the raising of the flags.
From Tuesday to Friday, students will be greeted by the teacher on duty and move directly into class at 8:55am. Morning prayer will take place in classrooms, allowing students to calmly settle and begin learning by 9:05am.
We believe this small change will enhance the start of each day and support a more focused transition into learning.
Wishing you a safe, restful, and joyful holiday break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 3.
Warm regards,
Angela Pecnik
Principal
Uniforms
Each day, we are so proud of our students who arrive at school wearing their uniform with pride. The Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong and St Paul’s Catholic Parish Primary School, Albion Park, support the wearing of school uniform as it promotes a sense of belonging for students and creates a positive identity for the school community. School uniforms also contribute to the personal safety of students by allowing easier recognition of students both within the school grounds and in the wider community.
As we prepare for school photos next term, it is important that all students wear the correct school uniform each day.
